SLBI's Open Day

Join the South London Botanical Institute for their next open day and enjoy drop in activities for all ages, snacks and refreshments. Don’t miss a free talk on urban-botany at the end of the day.

1pm - 3pm: Drop-in activities which include:

  • stroll around our beautiful garden and view new artwork by Dolly Swann, a participant in Kew’s Grow Wild programme
  • look at seeds through a microscope
  • learn about herbs and make your own herbal tea bag
  • tours of our herbarium and library

3pm - 3.30pm: 

To close the SLBI's open house day please join their free talk on ‘how to become an urban-botanist’ by SLBI Urban-Botanist in Residence Amanda Tuke. It is free but spaces are limited. To reserve your place please see the SLBI's website.
