Further to our earlier story here, the Lambeth Council digital team is working to improve further the Council’s website, so that we can all access the services and information we need in a way that's easy to understand and simple to use.
The Lambeth Patient Participation Group Network is to run an online focus group before the end of May 2020 for Black British, African and Caribbean men.
Southwark Metals has now submitted its planning application for the new metal recycling building at Windsor Grove SE27 9NT (next to the Royal Mail Sorting Office). You can access the full details of the application on the Lambeth Planning Portal here (there are 56 supporting documents); enter the reference: 20/01066:
Further to our story last Friday here, Thames Water have now advised that their engineers have completed excavations around the pipework near Elmcourt Health Centre, Norwood Road in order to begin more detailed pressure tests on the valve under review.
As lockdown is eased, we will see more people walking and cycling. This is expected to become the new normal as we follow social distancing guidelines and avoid public transport.
As people trickle back to work, and how to manage social distancing is being carefully reviewed, we have been speaking to our local railway station managers about their plans. Station managers have been mandated to implement crowd flow management plans to minimise the risks of people being in close proximity (although of course these cannot be fully eliminated).
Clear Community Web are running a new series of four free workshops on setting up and managing zoom meetings. These workshops are a little more advanced than the successful ‘basics’ one held recently. The workshops are very hands on and practical.
