Streatham terrorist incident

Councillor Jack Hopkins (Leader of Lambeth Council), Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Messinger (Lambeth Borough Police Commander), Councillor Mohammed Seedat (Lambeth Council Cabinet Member for Community Safety) and Saleha Jaffer (Chair, Faiths Together in Lambeth) have written to local residents following last Sunday's terrorist incident.  The letter includes details of support services, and can be read here.

News on a new app for required food items, how to make donations, and volunteering opportunities..

Foodbank app.: This new app allows you to view food items that are in short supply and allows the Foodbank to send a push message to you when we urgently need a particular item. The app is now available for both iPhones and Android phones. Its free to download; simply go to your app store and search for Foodbank by Redemption Media.

Lambeth Together: engagement

Following cancellation of the earlier session, Lambeth Together invite Lambeth voluntary sector representatives to a meeting this coming Thursday on how to do engagement differently. Lela Kogbara from Black Thrive will facilitate this conversation aiming to ensure Lambeth's VCSE sector can be a part of this important discussion.
