Lambeth has advised today that the resurfacing works cannot proceed as planned on 7 November 2022 because of a variety of reasons. We are awaiting further information, and will update as soon as possible.
Lambeth has pledged to plant 600 trees in the imminent six month planting season. The planting is part of the Council's plans to address the climate and nature crises whilst bringing a range of health and wellbeing benefits to residents.
Project Smith works at a ‘grassroots’ level to increase networks and social connections between community groups, various health initiatives, local neighbourhood forums, the LCNs, and individuals.
Lambeth Council and Serco (Lambeth’s waste etc contractor) are inviting everyone to take part in a survey to establish what Lambeth residents think about the recycling, rubbish, and street cleaning services.
Expectations of a general election may have receded this week, but its timely to remind everyone to make sure they are registered to participate if any election does arise.
The works to overhaul Hillside Gardens Park, between Hillside Road and Kingsmead Road, have been completed.
