This week is National Tree Week - running until Sunday 6 December 2020.
A full programme of both live (socialy distanced) and online events is planned for December. Father Christmas will be available via Zoom from the North Pole, a Crystal Palace Christmas Concert will be performed live both to a socially distanced audience and online, and weekend Christmas Markets are planned. We are pleased to hear that the Friends of Gipsy Hill’s fundraiser for their first community Christmas tree has successfully met its target. The tree represents light shining out in the dark evenings and a focal point to bring the community together. read more about the tree of hope here on the Friends website.
