This year Crystal Palace Festival will be working with South Facing Festival to bring free mid-week music and arts entertainment across the month of August 2021. The best local talent and artists in South London will be performing at the bowl in Crystal Palace Park. There will not be a standalone Crystal Palace Festival in the park or across the high street this year due to the impact of the pandemic on their funding.

The Upper Norwood Library Hub has June camps for chlldren, including one from 1- 4 June at the Library building. Budding creatives have the opportunity to discover new skills, techniques and learn about famous individuals and their work as they spend the holidays having fun, creating and exploring art.

The South London Theatre has now announced its 2021 season and live performances will recommmence with a double bill of Being Friends and Lost by Robert Holman from Tuesday 15 June to Sunday 20 June (the Thursday performance will be online). Calling all Black-led charities and social enterprises! Common Call have have launched FundTwo for Black-led impact projects, social enterprises and charities across the UK. The £300,000 fund includes contributions from Barclays, National Emergencies Trust, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, The Clothworkers’ Foundation and Comic Relief.

This Saturday 15 May 1-2:30pm, IRMO – the Indoamerican Refugee and Migrant Organisation - will be hosting a Zoom event in Spanish about the Covid-19 vaccine and access to primary care. The event will be delivered entirely in Spanish by GPs from south London practices, maternity services and public health consultants and it will cover how to register with a GP, services available in primary care and information on the Covid-19 vaccine in South East London.
