Breaking news - Father Xmas to visit Upper Norwood!

Visit Santa in his cosy reading room this Christmas! Deep in the recesses of the Upper Norwood Library Hub building a lost room has been discovered. This hidden hallow is home to ancient and rare books only a library can preserve. This is Father Christmas’s secret reading room. A sanctuary for him to rest, think and invent new toys. He is inviting you to come and visit him and share your Christmas tales.

Become a Community Connector

Community Connectors are local people who link others in their local community with activities and organisations that can help improve their quality of life. Lots of people in Lambeth do this naturally on a daily basis in unpaid capacities with no training or formal support, whilst others do it as part of a structured volunteering role in local community organisations.

Harpenden Road pocket garden

Norwood Forum committee members joined local gardeners to spruce up the circular bed on the corner of Harpenden and Norwood Roads.  Previously the space had been used as a private car park until it was converted by the Streetworks team into a green space maintained by the community.  Hopefully for drivers stuck at the temporary lights this will prove a pleasant distraction.  If anyone would like to adopt the bed and tend it on a regular basis do let us know: info@norwoodforum.org.
